OCA Global leads the implementation of the Technical support and assistance to the Euroclima LAC and the Caribbean Green Deal programs since February 2023.

EUROCLIMA LAC is the Team Europe flagship initiative aiming to support the Green Transition of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) countries, fostering climate mitigation, adaptation, resilience and investment efforts, contributing to the protection of the regions' biodiversity and to an enabling environment that leads to the achievement of the region's NDCs and SDGs.

The initiative is complemented by the Euroclima Caribbean financing decision, which will enable the transition to sustainable, carbon-neutral, circular economies in Caribbean states, with a gender and human rights-based approach, contributing to a green recovery of the pandemic and paying particular attention to the climate resilience of vulnerable communities.

The European Commission has awarded OCA Global-led consortium the 6-year technical assistance contract that will support, from Brussels and Barbados, the effective and efficient implementation of both EUROCLIMA LAC and Euroclima Caribbean Programs.
