The overall objective is to improve the performance of the standardization system in Turkey, and to provide a better commitment to the European System. The purposes of this project are to improve the reliability, efficiency and operational performance of the standardization system in Turkey, and to increase public awareness of standardization. The intended outcomes are: 

1. Full integration of the Turkish standardization system with the European standardization systems
2. Increased stakeholder assistance
3. Unified terminology for existing standards developers.
