OCA Global is providing Lender's Technical Assistance (LTA) and Owner's Engineering (OE) services for a 30 MW + 20 MW solar PV power plant in Blitta (Togo).

The project consisted of the construction of a 50 MW PV plant and the evacuation of the generated electricity through a Loop-In-Loop-Out connection on the existing 161kV Sokode-Atakpame interconnection line. The project was designed to supply the grid with an average of 54,153 GWh of electricity per year.

The services provided by OCA Global are divided into two (2) phases: 

• Phase 1: Design Review (assessment of the suitability and feasibility of the complete plant and substation design provided by the awarded EPC Contractor based on the RFP and EPC contract documents) 
• Phase 2A: Construction Monitoring (supervision and technical support); and Phase 2B: Commissioning Monitoring (factory inspections, specific test procedures, commissioning, PR-Test and PAC).
