The general objective of this contract is to support the SADC Secretary in the development of a circular economy strategy for the SADC region, in order to strengthen regional value chains and promote non-linear production approaches. The specific objective of this assignment is to conduct an assessment of current policies in the field of industrialization, waste management and value chain development, carry out consultations with key stakeholders and develop a draft regional strategy on circular economy.
