The delegation of OCA Global in Puertollano, recently opened, has collaborated with companies in charge of assembly and manufacturing of the new Iberdrola green hydrogen plant in Puertollano.

The green hydrogen produced will be used at Fertiberia's ammonia plant in Puertollano. This facility will come into operation in 2023 and will produce 360 kilos of green hydrogen per hour, up to 3,000 tons per year, avoiding the emission of 48,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and in the area of 7 hectares.

OCA Global has been involved in the project since its inception in early 2021. The Division of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) has collaborated by carrying out different NDT of Visual Inspection (VT), Radiography (RT) and Penetrating Liquids (PT) with several of the companies that are in charge of the manufacture and assembly of the new distribution lines.

In addition to non-destructive testing, OCA Global has conducted final inspections and verifications of manufactured equipment. In this way, the company’s presence is consolidated as a leading inspection entity in the energy and petrochemical industry.
