Occupational risk prevention in the Goya Project
|
During 2020 and 2021, several prevention technicians from OCA Global took part, within the framework of a contract with GE Wind Energy, of the Goya Project work team, which, with the support of the Investment plan for Europe, launched nine wind farms that add up to 300 MW. Specifically, OCA Global technicians worked at the Campos de Daroca and Belchite facilities, acting as preventive resources in the installation and commissioning activities of the mills, ensuring compliance with the health and safety protocols in the different works at height, assembly and disassembly of cranes, various electrical works, as well as the displacements through the parks, which cover an extension of more than 60 km.
Also, the multidisciplinary team with specific training in GWO (Global Wind Organization), carried out the necessary measurements of wind and light conditions, to provide safety while working.
