Trade Assistance: Hiring of Short-term Technical Assistance and Support Unit

The project activities were based on three components: 

• Institutional strengthening and assistance for a change management process aimed at organizational reform.
• Capacity building in the improvement of quality control procedures (sanitary and phytosanitary measures), surveillance-certification in the food chain and improvement of the technical capacities of SENASA's human resources.
• Implementation of a complete modernization of the existing infrastructure and computer systems to ensure and improve the institution's regionalization strategy.

The objective of all these activities was to improve the trade and export capabilities of the private sector in Argentina, especially in the agrifood sector.
